StableGraze which releases feed at intervals over time, recreating the horses natural feeding preference of eating little and often.

We here @ Top Line Saddlery think this will be especially good for helping to keep your horses weight on through out the winter.  You can add some mix to the forage and stretch out the time intervals, rather than being like me because of time constraints having to give a large and a small feed, even I can’t get one before April.

This genius device has 3 compartments and you can load each with forage, feed or a bit of both,  alter the time intervals and leave it to do it’s thing.  The compartments open up at the chosen intervals dropping the feed onto the floor.  So if your horse or pony guzzles it’s hay net in record time then this could be the answer.

Grazing over a longer period of time encourages a constant flow of saliva which protects the gut from the build-up of a harmful acidic environment which can cause gastric ulcers.  The ability to be able to recreate the trickle-feeding nature of horses will prove invaluable to convalescing horses and ponies for example in cases of laminitis where maintaining consistent glucose and soluble carbohydrates levels is paramount.
